Welcome to Bambu Prints (bambu-prints.com). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. About Bambu Prints

Bambu Prints is a community-driven platform for sharing 3D printable models, primarily focused on the Bambu Lab printer community. Our services include hosting, sharing, and downloading 3D model files, images, and related content uploaded by users.

Important: Bambu Prints is an independent community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bambu Lab or MakerWorld.

2. Eligibility

To use Bambu Prints, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
  • Be at least 18 years of age to upload content or create an account
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

If you are under 18, you may browse public content but may not create an account or upload content without parental consent.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must provide a valid email address and create a unique username
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must not share your account credentials with others
  • You must not create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms of Use
  • Violate our Community Guidelines
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Remain inactive for extended periods (with prior notice)

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

4. User Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you upload to Bambu Prints ("User Content"), including 3D model files, images, descriptions, and comments.

4.2 License Grant

By uploading User Content, you grant Bambu Prints a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Host, store, and display your content on the platform
  • Create thumbnails and previews of your content
  • Distribute your content to other users according to the license you select
  • Promote your content on the platform and in marketing materials

This license continues until you delete your content or account, except for copies that have been downloaded by other users or cached in backups.

4.3 Content Licenses

When uploading models, you must select a license that defines how others may use your work. Available licenses include:

4.4 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have the right to upload and share your content
  • The accuracy of your descriptions and print settings
  • Complying with the license terms of any source materials or remixes
  • Any claims arising from your content

5. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You agree NOT to upload, share, or engage in:

5.1 Prohibited Content

  • Content you do not own or have rights to share
  • Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property
  • Firearms, weapon components, or items designed to cause harm
  • Sexually explicit or pornographic material
  • Content depicting minors in inappropriate situations
  • Hate speech, discriminatory content, or content promoting violence
  • Malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Spam, advertisements, or promotional content unrelated to 3D printing
  • Content that violates any applicable law

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

  • Harassment, bullying, or threatening other users
  • Impersonating others or misrepresenting your identity
  • Attempting to hack, exploit, or compromise the platform
  • Circumventing security measures or access controls
  • Scraping or automated collection of user data
  • Manipulating downloads, likes, or other metrics
  • Using the platform for illegal purposes

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Platform Content

The Bambu Prints name, logo, website design, and original content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without permission.

6.2 DMCA and Takedowns

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe your work has been infringed:

  1. Send a written notice to: [email protected]
  2. Include:
    • Your contact information
    • Identification of the copyrighted work
    • URL of the infringing content
    • A statement of good faith belief
    • A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
    • Your physical or electronic signature

We will investigate and remove infringing content promptly.

6.3 Counter-Notices

If your content was removed and you believe it was done in error, you may submit a counter-notice with the required information.

7. Downloads and Usage

7.1 Downloading Content

When you download content from Bambu Prints:

  • You must comply with the license selected by the creator
  • You assume all risk for printing and using downloaded models
  • You are responsible for ensuring models are safe and appropriate for your use

7.2 No Warranty

All content is provided "AS IS" without warranty. Bambu Prints does not guarantee:

  • That models will print successfully
  • That models are safe, functional, or fit for any purpose
  • The accuracy of print settings or descriptions
  • That models are free from defects

7.3 Safety Warning

3D printed objects may pose safety risks. You are responsible for:

  • Evaluating the safety of printed objects
  • Not using printed objects in safety-critical applications without proper testing
  • Keeping small parts away from children
  • Using appropriate materials for intended applications

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted access to the platform
  • That the platform will be error-free
  • Preservation of uploaded content (you should maintain your own backups)

8.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAMBU PRINTS AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from user content or third-party actions
  • Damages exceeding the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months

8.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bambu Prints from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your User Content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
